EPC Alliance This group was created to give smaller organizations access to the Center's work and to give them a forum for providing feedback. The role of the Alliance is to ensure that information is disseminated to the members of the bodies that join and to present to the Auto-ID Center the views of those members. EPC Alliances have been formed in the US and in Europe. Membership is free and is open to non-profit trade bodies with 10 or more members. The Alliances meet twice a year and are currently co-chaired by Pam Stegeman from the Grocery Manufacturer's Association and Joy Nicholas from the Food Marketing Institute.
