Duncan McFarlane, Research Director, Cambridge Lab
Duncan
McFarlane, the head of Research for the Auto-ID Centre Cambridge,
has been involved in the design and operation of manufacturing
and control systems for over ten years. Dr. McFarlane completed
a Ph.D. in the design of robust control systems at the University
of Cambridge in 1988. In 1985 and from 1989 to 1994 he was
with the research division of BHP, Australia's largest company,
with interests in steel and minerals.
